THERE ARE SO many iconic images that could define the craft beer movement, from the hop cone to the hand pump and everything in-between. But reserve a special spot for the growler, the most crafty of all the scene’s motifs. All (well almost all) beers use hops, the hand pump is still a rarer site than many of us would wish, and even then it’s tied to the bar, which is only one aspect of craft beer.
